Asprocer participated in the VIII version of the Conference “Veterinary Drugs Residues in Food”

The Pork Producers Trade Association of Chile (Asprocer) participated in the eighth edition the Conference “Veterinary Drugs Residues in Food”- Euroresidues VIII – to understand the recent analytical advances, regulations, equipment and services in this field.

The event was held in the Netherlands and attended over 300 representatives of the European Union, Asia, the US and Latin America. Among the topics covered were: bacterial resistance, new techniques for confirmatory analysis, residues detection in alternative matrices, screening methods, among others.

Karin Becerra, responsible for Veterinary Drugs and Chemical Waste, represented Asprocer. She stated that this occasion was a good opportunity to update on new trends in veterinary drug residues.
